NICOLE HENKEL (she/her) Born and raised in Stamford CT, Henkel has continued to expand her craft throughout CT and MA. Graduating from Springfield College (‘23) with a BA in Dance and BS in Psychology in the Honors Program; she is completing her Master's degree in School Adjustment Counseling (‘25). She has produced adjudicated and non-adjudicated choreographic research for: Boston Dance Studios, American College Dance Association, Alchemy Movement Dance Performance, Springfield College, in Florence Italy, and more! Henkel has performed works by Monica Bill Barnes, Didy Veldman, Tatiana Desardouin, Darrell Grand Moultrie, Sarah Zehnder, Jason Aryeh, Kodee van Nort and more! She is a passionate teacher and choreographer for young dancers across Connecticut and Massachusetts, including a recently choreographed production of A Chorus Line in West Hartford, where in class we emphasize community, intentionality, empathy, and growth at the forefront of our learning with technique and precision.
